Eccentric:
The
negative
or lowering
phase
of an
isotonic
contraction
- also
called
negative
curls.
Ectomorph:
This
body
type
is known
as a
light
build
and
slight
muscular
development.
This
body
type
may
even
have
difficulty
gaining
weight
and
people
of this
type
may
feel
they
are
too
thin.
As with
other
body
types,
people
who
fall
into
this
category
should
exercise,
but
will
focus
on different
goals.
Because
their
goals
are
more
about
trying
to gain
weight,
this
body
type
might
spend
more
time
on strength
training
and
weights
and
not
so much
time
on cardiovascular
work.
Endomorph:
This
body
type
is known
as a
stocky
build,
wide
hips,
and
the
tendency
to easily
store
body
fat.
This
body
type
may
also
have
more
internal
fat
around
the
organs,
which
makes
fat
loss
more
difficult
than
other
body
types.
People
with
this
body
type
should
pay
close
attention
to what
they
eat
and
follow
a well
rounded
exercise
program
that
includes
cardiovascular
and
strength
training.
Ergogenic
Aid:
Performance
enhancing
substance.
Extension:
Movement
at a
joint
which
brings
two
parts
toward
a straight
line
which
increases
the
angle
of the
joint.
(i.e.,
straightening
the
elbow
during
a biceps
curl)
